We are preparing for you the upcoming 30th anniversary edition of the Book World Prague 2025.
The International Book Fair and Literary Festival Book World Prague 2025 will again be held in all the newly renovated Křižík pavilions and the exhibition hall on Bruselská cesta, the programme part will take place in the Prague Exhibition Grounds in the outdoor programme halls named after classic Czech authors.
The festival's dramaturgy in 2025 will focus on three main points. We are pleased to present Portugal as the guest of honor of the festival. We will focus on the rich tradition of Portuguese literature and the influence of Portugal on world literature. The Book World Prague 2025 will also be a celebration of the festival's 30th anniversary and an exceptional commemoration, for example through retrospectives of the festival's history, annual programmes looking at the development of the literary world over the past three decades or discussions focused on the future, on where literature is heading. The motto of the upcoming edition is "30! Energy of the Youth - Wisdom of Books". The slogan describing the theme of the 30th edition of the Book World Prague 2025 highlights the dynamic interplay between the creativity of young creators and the wisdom contained in literature.
