Marta Eich (*1972) is a German-Czech translator. After graduating from the Prague Graphic School, she studied Bohemian Studies and translation studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. She has been living in Berlin since 2000. She translates mainly texts on art historical and contemporary prose (Gianna Molinari, Monika Helfer, Mariana Leky, Peter Stamm and others). She also translated the successful novel "Kalmann" (Bitter Lemon Press, 2022) as well as its second part "Kalmann and the Sleeping Mountain" (Bitter Lemon Press, 2024) by the Swiss-Icelandic writer Joachim B. Schmidt, which she and the author will present at this year's fair
