Juraj Buzalka is social anthropologist at Comenius University in Bratislava. His research interests include social and political movements, the politics of memory and religion, and wine transformation. In addition to academic and journalistic articles, he wrote The Cultural Economy of Protest in Postsocialist European Union: Village Fascists and their Rivals (Routledge 2021), Nation and Religion: The Politics of Commemoration in South-East Poland (Lit 2007), Slovak Ideology and Crisis (Kalligram 2012), and Postsedliaci.
