                            Peruvian novelist, essayist and short story writer living in Paris. He is the author of the short story collections Hudson el redentor and Adormecer a los felices, the essay Detectives perdidos en la ciudad oscura. Novela policial alternativa latinoamericana. De Borges a Bolaño (Copé National Prize), and the novels El círculo de los escritores asesinos, Bioy, La procesión infinita, and La lealtad de los caníbales (2024). He holds a BA in Communications, a MA in Aesthetics from L’EHESS in Paris, and a PhD in Latin American Literature from the University of Austin, TX. He has been a professor at Binghamton University (New York), the Catholic University of Peru and the University of Lima. His work is represented in the anthology Cruellas: Tales from the Pyrenees to the Andes.
